At the beginning of AI development, the security risk increased drastically. AI was used to support movie piracy, hacking into games, and other illegal activities. This was not because it was shady but because the design of that AI model was bad. During that time, AI was pulling millions of pieces of information from the internet and applying it to whatever a user asked. Nowadays, this is less of a problem because the engineers behind those AI models have changed how AI responds to these prompts. Now the AI models review the prompt and respond in a way that prohibits these actions. But what if a user enters a prompt that fools the AI into doing something that it shouldn't do? This creates a major security risk, especially if hackers are already inside that company. But AI can also be used to deceive the user. As previously stated, AI compiles responses using data from the internet. This includes any website, social media platform, workplace, and so on that may contain information about you. With that in mind, any person in this world, regardless of whether they are using AI or not they can find information about you. With your public information, AI can help a hacker or someone create a phishing email or a fake message to you.

AI's Advancement: the problem.

AI has grown a lot throughout the years; it can create pictures, create videos, and full essays. The biggest problem that it can do now is code. Coding is vital in every program and in every device. If AI can code, what else can it do? Not too long ago, I wanted to see if AI could code a full HTML game. The result was a complete game; sure, it didn't have all the features a good game should have, but it did. So if AI can code a whole game, it could also code malicious programs that could be detrimental to your device. Then could AI crack passwords? All of these combined create a major security risk to your device. The problem also increases the more you use AI. The more you request from AI, the more it learns about you. Now we don't want a Terminator scenario, do we? With trillions of people using AI daily around the whole world, AI advances faster than we think. Especially with big companies using AI to develop advanced technologies, AI learns how each component works and how it fits into our daily lives. Or even our daily routines. This creates a problem: they know the weaknesses, and any hacker can exploit them. By hacking where it is most vulnerable.

The Assistant that Stabs you in the back

Have you seen those AI assistants on websites? Those are vulnerabilities that you need to look out for, too! Although most AI assistants know a lot about the website and that company, they don't know about you! They might ask about you and gather details to "further assist you". Though most are somewhat reliable, they are all security risks you should avoid. If you share your personal information on those AI platforms, you don't know where that information goes. Even if it goes to that organization's logs, anyone can read it if they hack into that platform. But with good AI comes bad AI, especially on untrustworthy websites, or even on reputable ones with fake AI platforms that can easily deceive you and steal your information.

Regardless, it is always best to secure your device properly, especially with AI.

Ways to secure your device correctly from AI:

• NEVER share your personal information or any passwords on ANY AI platform, or even anywhere!

  • Hackers are after YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION and PASSWORDS.

• Use AI wisely.

  • AI is known to hallucinate (produce false information).

  • AI could one day access your information if you trust it too much.

• Use trusted AI models/platforms.

  • Many AI models can be found throughout the internet. Choosing the most trustworthy one is essential.

  • Just like how companies can sell your information when you visit their website, AI companies can do the same thing!

• Keep your social life private and safe on the internet.

  • AI uses the whole internet for its sources.

• Only use trustworthy AI platforms.

  • Only use trusted AI platforms.

  • Avoid using built-in AI platforms on websites.

• Watch what you download from AI.

  • Malicious viruses and malware can leech onto files.
